SWCA Board Meeting Minutes
December 4, 2008
Rothwell Clubhouse
Board Members Present: Dr. Barry Ezell, Sarah Ezell, Heidi Rosen, Doris Meixel, Pete
Leavitt, Scott Kittell, Eileen Beckert, Dustin Seavers, Jim Newton, and Maureen Newton
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Dr. Barry Ezell. No old business was
discussed. New business was as follows:
1. New board member positions:
Doris Meixel: Welcome Committee
Dustin Seavers: Webmaster
Sarah Ezell: Recreation
Heidi Rosen: Treasurer
Scott Kittell: Undecided
Eileen Beckert: Membership
Dr. Barry Ezell: Committee for HOA conversion
Wayne Barnett: Facilities Manager
Kirk Traber: Undecided
2. Photos and cookies with Santa are on December 14th from 3-5pm.
3. The soccer goals are up.
4. HOA conversion: We need to get a vote on the new By-Laws and Articles of
Incorporation. For section 1 conversion, the yearly dues are going to be $60. Keep it
simple.
5. Barry suggested that we devote more energy to reach out and ask for more volunteers
instead of doing everything ourselves and to advise and guide rather than work.
Suggestion was made to the 2009 board.
5. Dustin Seavers inquired about our webpage and to see if we could change servers.
This was not a problem with the board.
6. Jim Newton thanked Barry for all of his hard work the last 3 years. Mr. Newton
suggested that as a board, we make an agenda and follow that agenda at the board
meetings, so distractions do not occur. He also stated that he will get with Wayne Barnett
and complete a turnover for facilities.
No other business. Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
